Why Did the Bermuda Triangle Puzzle Disappear? After selling about 5,000 puzzles, I left the Island for good in 2008. I had lived on the islands of Bermuda for close to 30 years and decided to retire to the USA with my wife Linda. I had a good friend taking care of the sales were steady and at the best stores in Bermuda. I had a warehouse just out of town in air-conditioning where I kept them, shrink wrapped and in triangular boxes for transportation. Engravers Limited, a printing company with a staff of about 50, owned the warehouse. The printing company was bought out another company Bermuda Press but the jigsaw puzzle remained in the warehouse until Bermuda Press decided to sell off the property. The puzzles were moved most likely to Bermuda Press’s new acquisition Island Press. The staff was cut and most of the staff I had known retired. The puzzle got moved again, but this time they seemed to have vanished into a far corner of the warehouse. Exhaustive calls and emails have brought me no luck and the puzzles have now it seems vanished into that well known “Bermuda Triangle”. Should they ever reappear I will again be selling them. The puzzles are now a collector’s item. I have tried to fill the gap with online puzzles that are free. Should you find one of the puzzles treasure it. There will never be another puzzle like it.
